Bio-remodeller Injections
Bio-remodeller injections improve the overall quality and texture of the skin. It uses an innovative hyaluronic acid molecule that deeply moisturises the skin from the inside out, reduces the appearance of fine lines and crepey skin, and restores a more youthful appearance. It is an ideal treatment for clients who are looking for supple, bouncy and plush skin with natural-looking results.
Unlike traditional injectables, bio-remodeller injections do not volumise or re-shape the face. Bio-remodeller injections contain one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, meaning it not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue, building from the base up. It uses a specific technology that enables prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. When injected into the skin, it stimulates collagen and elastin production which help to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.
The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area. The treatment is suitable for men and women and offers skin benefits for patients of all ages.
We aim to create a supportive and comfortable experience for all patients. The treatment generally does not take longer than 30 minutes, and it involves injecting the bio-remodelling substance at a precise depth beneath the skin. The procedure uses the BAP (bio aesthetic point) technique, specifically developed for this unique bio-remodelling treatment. It involves five injection points on each side of the face in order to allow the best and most uniform spread. Injection techniques are altered slightly when treating other areas (e.g. hands, neck or decolletage).
After the procedure you may experience some minor redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising at the injection sites. These side effects are temporary and usually resolve within a few hours to a few days. Avoid the following after your treatment:
- For at least 8 hours avoid makeup, touching the injection site, massaging the injection area or lying on the injection area (try to sleep on your back).
- For 48 hours avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol, swimming, applying excessive pressure to the injection area.
- For at least 2 weeks after your treatment you should avoid extreme heat (sun, solarium, sauna) and avoid other cosmetic treatments such as fillers, facials, facial waxing, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, IPL or laser therapies.
The results of bio-remodeller are not immediate. Around one month after your first treatment you should start to notice improved skin tone and texture, boosted hydration and overall radiance, increased firmness and elasticity, as well as healthier and softer-looking skin. However, best results appear one month after your second treatment.
In order to achieve the best results, we may suggest a building phase of two or three treatments, spaced one month apart. After these initial treatments, if you wish to maintain your results you will require a top-up treatment every 6 months.
