Our cosmetic injections will leave you with a smoother, more youthful appearance. We use only quality products you can trust. For more than 25 years, cosmetic injections have been used to help millions of people get rid of their wrinkles. Are you ready to be one of them?

Anti- wrinkle injections

are used to restore  smoothness to your skin where your facial expressions have created deep lines,  for instance on the sides of the eyes called crows feet, the vertical lines between the brows and above the nose  when one concentrates or focuses, the horizontal lines of the forehead when one frowns or applies mascara at the mirror.

Anti- wrinkle injections

As one ages these lines can become scars and more difficult to smoothen out. These are the commonest areas most people seek treatment for but there are other areas advanced injectors can treat.

Muscles of expression in the face are attached to the underlying surface of the skin and the more dynamic ones  expressions are, the deeper these lines will become. It is therefore true that the earlier in adulthood one commences treatment, the easier it becomes to restore and maintain the smoothness. It is however never too late to start only that it will take a few more treatments to get the effect one wants.

These products were and are still being used for non-cosmetic treatments such as in Cerebral Palsy to loosen the spasm of muscles, in ‘ Wry Neck ‘ Torticollis , twitching of the face or eyes, called hemi-facial spasm and blepharospasm, excessive sweating or Hyperhydrosis and Migraine headaches.

The product is manufactured under strict pharmaceutical guidelines and in the western world there are now three products available, two of which have been used cosmetically for over 30 years and without any major adverse effects.

How painful are the injections?

Very fine sterile disposable needles / syringes are used and experienced injectors will minimise the discomfort felt or one can use ice or even a topical anaesthetic especially for those of you who have a fear of needles.

Are there any adverse effects?

These are very uncommon and first-timers might experience some headache after their first treatment, there is a small risk of slight eyelid droop occurring a few days after and lasting a few weeks and small dot bruising especially if on Aspirin or anti-inflammatory medication.

How long does the effect last?

The effects of treatment will only be noticed around about 2-3 days and best by  7-10 days. On average with all factors being equal one should have a lasting result of between 3 to 4 months or even 6 months in younger people.

Plan your treatment

If one continues regular treatment these lines will improve and might even require less product or longer spacing between treatments. If you decide to not persist with treatment the lines will return to where you were before commencing treatment, however, if you have been getting treatment for years it might remain improved for a very long time and never return to your original deep lines.

It is advisable to plan your treatment at least two weeks in advance of a major event such as weddings, birthdays, school reunions or new dates.
